India vs UAE Asia Cup Match: Dube aur Kuldeep Yadav ke Toofan me UAE Dher, India ki Sansanikhez Jeet – Ek Vishesh Report
Every time there is a clash between India and UAE in the game of cricket, it can be expected to be an entertaining contest. But this particular game was an enthralling display by Team India that cricket lovers will never forget in a hurry. In this article, we shall analyze all aspects of this match – from the fierce bowling by the Indian side, explosive batting and finally, the game changers of the match.
1. The Toss and Pitch
There was absolutely no second thought on the part of the Indian captain when he opted to bowl after winning the toss. This was because the pitch was conducive for swing and seam bowling early in the match while spin would dominate later. This decision of India was perfect as they thoroughly stifled the UAE batting order from the very start.
2. UAE Innings: Deadly Bowling by Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dube
Jasprit Bumrah and the fast bowlers kept a strict line and length from the beginning itself and started giving the pressure to the openers of UAE. Almost half of the UAE players got back to the pavilion even before the power play.
Kuldeep Yadav’s Mystery: After the introduction of spinners, Kuldeep Yadav created havoc with his mysterious chinaman bowling in the middle order. In an economic bowling, Kuldeep took four important wickets at just seven runs. The batsmen of UAE had absolutely no answers to his deadly googlies.
Shivam Dube’s Contribution: Shivam Dube too made the most out of it as a medium pacer and justified his role as a bowler. Shivam took three dangerous wickets in only four runs through some smart off cutters and short pitches.
Batting Collapse: Thus, all the players of UAE got dismissed for a mere 57 runs. Alishan Sharafu was the sole performer in the batting lineup with 22 runs, whereas all other batsmen failed to make double figures.
3. India’s Lightning-Fast Chase: Wrapping It Up in 4.3 Overs
In this format, chasing a total of 58 runs is easy, but it was taken to the next level by India’s openers in an effort to improve their Net Run Rate (NRR).
Abhishek Sharma’s Attack: Abhishek Sharma started off aggressively from the very first delivery and scored 30 runs in 16 deliveries, which included some spectacular hits for fours and sixes, which ultimately demoralized the opposing team.
Support from Shubman Gill: While Shubman Gill backed him up with a score of 20 runs in 9 balls* without getting out to get the team very close to winning the game.
The Indian team managed to chase the total in just 4.3 overs, conceding only 1 wicket, resulting in a 9-wicket victory for them. India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE India vs UAE
5. Impact of the Win on Team India
Not only did the win consolidate the status of India in the points table, but it also lifted the morale of the entire team. This is because defending the total that is so low and then chasing down that very score within the powerplay shows the level of preparation that this Indian team has for the tournament.
The bowlers had gained massive confidence especially Kuldeep Yadav, who played brilliantly, and Shivam Dube, who proved to be useful as an all-rounder.
